The Commissioner for Corporate Affairs

The Commissioner for Corporate Affairs has been representing Swedish business community to the Swedish Companies Registration Office in connection with company registrations since 1897.

We conduct reviews and offer advice on corporate law and business name law, and also assist in trademark registrations. Because the Swedish Companies Registration office also handles registrations of trading companies, limited partnerships, private firms, financial associations and branches, we represent those entities in such matters as well. The decisive factors for registration are processing times, incomplete submissions, impediments to registration, business names and trademarks that may get confused, etc. The issues associated with the registration process exhibit major similarities, but this legal area per se is characterised by complexity and detailed rules. You can turn to us with confidence for expert assistance.

At the Commissioner for Corporate Affairs we review all incoming cases, monitor them and serve as your representative should any problems arise in connection with the Swedish Companies Registration Office’s processing activities. Over half of all the submissions received by the Swedish Companies Registration Office are flawed to some extent, and either require supplementation or entail correspondence. Correct and complete submissions shorten the Swedish Companies Registration Office’s processing times considerably. We also furnish registration certificates and other types of documents from the Swedish Companies Registration Office’s registers.
